I recently got the opportunity to see the new space that will become the second Remedy dispensary in Maryland – this location will be known as Remedy Baltimore. This was an immense honor and I can’t wait to see this in action within the next few months. I want to start with a mega shout-out to Mitch, the CEO of Remedy, and Morgan – the one who brought us all together.

Sunday, February 13th, 2022 –
We met at the new location off of 695. This location is conveniently placed off of Security Blvd, next to a Chipotle and a phenomenal food joint called “Brunch Gods” that provided our brunch. This is such an accessible location that has parking on all sides. Part of the building used to be The Botanist dispensary a bit ago, before they shut down. This has allowed Remedy more space to get creative.
I was greeted by a bright-eyed Morgan, who enthusiastically invited me into the space and gave me a brief tour. Shortly after, the CEO of Remedy, Mitch, greeted me and we started discussing various topics related to the medical market in Maryland. He briefly showed me the plans for the space and some concept pictures. We cracked open some juice and coffee and greeted the second guest, a good friend Chris.
Chris is known as The Enlightened Voice on YouTube and Instagram. He posts lengthy reviews on strains in Maryland, DC, and Michigan. He is such an expressive and enthusiastic person that provides so much knowledge to the community. Working at Evermore gives him a more in-depth view into the cannabis world in Maryland. This man knows good cannabis. He is also willing to take a road trip for good cannabis! As soon as I heard his voice, I knew we were in for a great time with great discussions.
Shortly after Chris joined us, we were graced with another fantastic human. Known to the community of Cannaquestt, this man posts the most hilarious reels and videos. He is well-known on Instagram and Tik-Tok, and for good reason. If you have a chance to check out his stuff, you will find it extremely relatable and hysterical. You can catch him over at Oceanside Dispensary, serving up knowledge to eligible patients in MD.
While the rest of us were talking around the coffee & juice, our fourth guest snuck up on us. She is known as ExploreMarylandCannabis on Instagram. Keisha is such a beautiful human being with such a vision for the future of the cannabis industry in Maryland and as a whole. Such an inspiring, dedicated woman. She is one of the people you should turn to with any questions about the Maryland market, as well as how you can get involved with the community. I cannot wait to see what she has planned in the future, and can’t wait to see what assistance I can provide her.
There were a few other phenomenal human beings that were supposed to come, but life had other plans. We can’t wait to join them when the space is open! Speaking of the space – once she joined us, we were given the tour of the entire building. Starting in the front of the building, Remedy will have the first in-store shops starting in the front and going straight back: GTI/Rythm, Curio and a Cookies Corner. Past these on the right, there is the online ordering counter leading to the budtender counter. There are also kiosks around the space where you can place an order and wait for it to be ready. The space in front of the counters and in the multipurpose room on the side will be used as a “hang out” area. There will be plenty of chairs and sofas, accompanied by tv’s and video games. Mitch intends for this to be a place to chill! He has envisioned video game competitions, comedians, and educational events in this large, open space. Of course there is absolutely NO consumption allowed on the property. But this space will allow for a larger amount of patients in one space, with the option to hang out with like-minded individuals – it helps that the entire building feels so spacious and open, not cramped in any way.
After touring the space, we sat down for brunch and a tabletop discussion. We talked about some of the bigger topics in the MD industry – who does the best/worst processing, what we want to see more of in the industry, who our favorite growers were, our top 3 favorite strains, who is “underrated” in today’s market, and more. What a discussion we had! I loved being able to sit down at a table full of like-minded individuals to talk about things that matter to me and to them! I love being able to meet with fellow passionate cannabis consumers that want to see change in the industry. What a blessing it was to have this opportunity.
The shop is set to open within the next few weeks – aiming for mid-March. Definitely keep up with the Remedy Maryland page on any platform to see when they announce the opening date. This is definitely a place you are going to want to check out. Mitch and his team have a great vision and I can’t wait to see where they go with it. Thank you again to the team over at Remedy – you guys made this event informational, challenging to the mind, and fun at the same time. Another shoutout to the Cookies brand, who supplied all of the backpacks and swag. Such a cool thing to be able to take home from an awesome event as something I can use daily!
